Vintage BEST WESTERN MOTELS AMBER GLASS Advertising Ashtray ROUND SUN SHAPE:
Please take the time to read below so you know what you are potentially buying.
This hard to find 1960's Mid century AMBER Glass Advertising ASHTRAY with a Yellow and Red lithograph painted "BEST WESTERN" logo has no mark of the maker
but is most likely made in the USA by a regional glass maker of that time.
The yellow underside Litho has the Crown BEST WESTERN Corporate logo from 1966 according to their history website.
This ashtray is of a medium size shaped circular with a ridged brim making look like a sun and measures about 4 1/2 inches (11 cm) in diameter.
This early Mid century glass item is made of AMBER glass with only the Yellow and Red logo adding any decoration.
Overall the Ashtray is ONLY GENTLY used with almost no signs of age and is in super excellent condition.
The ASH TRAY is super clean with a nice vivid original BOLD Lithograph showing no signs of wear or dishwasher fading.
There are no MELT marks and NO cracks, but there is one small 1/4 inch chip in the outer ridge at around 3 o'clock.
