VINTAGE DOW EXPORT 6 1/4 Inch CANADIAN GREEN GLASS BEER BOTTLE:
This hard to find hard 1950's vintage DOW green glass bottle is made by
DOW BREWERY LTD of Montreal Quebec & Kictchener Ontario
and is clearly made in Montreal Canada.
The bottle is a traditional 1950's GREEN GLASS model and is a pre-metric 12 FLUID OUNCES bottle.
The base of the bottle has some real nice embossed markings including
the Inscription "BOTTLE MADE IN CANADA", and a "D" in a diamond logo (for DOW),
also the number "10" below the word "bottle", and a number "8" as well,
and a real funny logo that looks like a 4 paned window.
Overall the bottle is noticable used with much age but is in excellent condition
The Green Bottle is super clean with a nice sold bottle with no nicks and no cracks.
The label does show some age, and is a bit faded at the edges,
and there is a paper tear in the bottom right corner of the bigger label.
