Please take the time to read below so you know what you are buying.
This is the official Insert card for the Canadiens Magazine/Program from the 1994/1995 season, and it Insert from the Legendary Night of April 5, 1995
This Insert is one of the Most Unique Historical Collectible for Canadiens and NHL fans worldwide, just hold your breath here:
1- APRIL 5th, 1995 was the very last Time the Montreal Canadiens and Quebec Nordquies ever played in History and it was at the Montreal Forum.
2- On the Morning of APRIL 5th, 1995 Mathieu Schneider and Captain Kirk Muller were traded to the NY ISLANDERS for Vladimir Malakhov and Future Captain Pierre Turgeon,
This starting line up cared "printed on April 4th" is missing Turgeon and Malakhov, and still has Muller and Schneider, who did not play.
Even though the Habs were out of the play-offs (first time in 25 years), the Habs still won 5-4, with Malakhov having 4 assists, and Turgeon with 2 goals and the 1 star.
3- APRIL 5th, 1995 was the first time Mike Keane, wore the Captain C for the habs, and Pierre Turgeon's first game as a Hab.
4- Patrick Roy was the starting Goalie, and of course is featured on the "POSTER" Insert, ... for the LAST TIME, since he is soon traded next year,
and who is traded for Thibault, Rucinsky and Kovalenko, are all on this Roster Card!!!!
WOW, such an amazing story, for a weird misprinted insert, with probably the most volatile moment in Canadiens Hockey History.
The insert is what is is, a simple 8 1/2 X 11 Glossy Printed COLOUR INSERT, with a PATRICK ROY POSTER (with his habs mask) on one side,
and the other side, the Official NHL Line-ups as of "April 4th" of both the MONTREAL CANADIENS AND QUEBEC NORDIQUES.
Overall, the insert is ages a bit, but in excellent condition for a 20 years old Print.
The corners have no pin pricks or stick tack, and it is clean on both sides.
It is not mint, but in great displayable shape.
This Amazing Historical piece belongs in a Picture frame in a die hard fans collection.
